To appeal the fussiest patients, Omega Compounding can flavour most oral medicines with a range of suitable flavouring including: beef, chicken or fish to improve compliance.

We also offer Beef and Bacon flavoured mini capsules. 

Requirements for Online Ordering

Omega can dispense medication based on orders submitted through our online ordering system when there would be a serious and imminent threat to health, safety or life of the animal by us waiting to receive a prescription hard copy.

Our facility was designed and constructed in line with strict Australian Standards (AS/NZS 2982.1:1997), Pharmacy Board guidelines, PIC/S facility requirements and USP (United States Pharmacopoeia) guidelines.

The facility now comprises of 2 separate compounding suites, that have physical and mechanical separation to ensure no cross contamination, and appropriate storage for all materials inside the specific area.

Omega Compounding group operates according to GMP standards and principles and as a specialist compounding facility, conforms to relevant regulatory bodies including the state health department, pharmacy board requirements and complies to the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) guidelines on supply of compounded medicines.
